Introducing the 600 and 650 volt superjunction E series MOSFETs from Vishay, available in standard TO-xxx through-hole and SMT packages. Review the features of the E series and its advantages over the previous S series. The need for an application specific Figure of Merit will be discussed, with examples in the PFC market which is Vishay’s first use of this FOM approach. The portfolio of 600 V and 650 V E series MOSFETs is also provided.
