2-Way Coaxial Speakers

VISATON’s 2-way coaxial speakers are connected in parallel via the same terminals and protected against overload

Image of VISATON's 2-Way Coaxial SpeakersVISATON’s 2-way coaxial speakers combine the advantages of a classic full-range loudspeaker and a small tweeter all in one speaker. On 2-way coaxial speakers, a tweeter is placed in the middle of a cone speaker, and both speakers are connected in parallel via the same terminals, then a high-pass filter made of passive components is placed in series with the tweeter so that it is protected against overload. Depending on the quality requirements, the high-pass filter can be just a capacitor or a complex network (capacitor, coil, and resistor).

With the 2-way coaxial loudspeakers, demanding sound reinforcement tasks can be solved, including sound reinforcement in vehicles in which the loudspeakers should meet hi-fi requirements despite a lack of space or the need to be placed in unfavorable installation positions.
