Amphenol's USB 2.0 access point solution is designed for harsh environments
Amphenol's harsh-environment solution for connecting to a standard USB key or USB cable is the USB 2.0 access point. This composite access point is designed to be used in any industrial harsh environment where dust or liquid splash is a concern. The USB 2.0 unit has an attached self-closing cap that protects the USB-A receptacle when the plug or USB memory key is unmated. These USBAP products are designed for USB 2.0 protocols for speeds up to 480 Mb/s. They are IP54-rated when not mated and are RoHS compliant.
