Image of Eaton High-Surge SMD Metal Oxide Varistors – MOVS Series Eaton's Bussmann MOVS series is a surface-mount metal-oxide varistor (MOV) that provides high-surge overvoltage protection for a variety of applications. They are ideal for low-voltage circuits up to 480 V_AC line protection. Two different EIA footprints, 2825 and 4032, offer the ability to balance footprint and surge protection needs. The MOVS is offering working voltages from 11 V_AC to 510 V_AC with up to 1200 A of surge current withstand.
